MGACH & RC is in a 19 acre campus in Salod (Hirapur), Wardha about 80 kms from Nagpur, Maharashtra, India which is the geographic centre of India.
It is located away from the hustle and bustle of the city at the midst serene surroundings in a self sustaining complex which has all the facilities such as Bank, Post Office, Shopping Complex, Sai Temple, Ultra modern gymnasium and above all, an excellent academic ambience.
It is very well connected by road, rail and air (via Nagpur) to all the major cities in the country. Nagpur has now become an international airport with direct flights from Dubai, Sharjah and Doha and many more on the anvil in the near future...

I am currently a working faculty of Ayurveda at Mahatma Gandhi Ayurved College, Hospital & Research Centre in the field of Prasuti Tantra and Striroga since last two & half year and I can say it is the best place to work for good carrier growth. It has a very neat and clean campus. The classrooms are very good, has a separate library for students and also has a great collection of eBooks available for interns. There are many other activities which are best for all working persons and students with their kind of interest.
I consider myself fortunate for getting a chance to study at a college like MGACH&RC. Firstly, it has a brilliant education system and state-of-the-art facilities to complement it. The audio-visual lectures on LRM and well-equipped practical labs make learning quite simple and thus one is hardly left with any doubts. However, if still there's any, our erudite teaching staff is always ready to help us out. They are easily approachable and cooperative. Moreover, having a Rasashala with preparations going on every single day and a Herbal Garden laden with greenery inside the campus makes learning extremely pleasant and interesting. I would specially mention about bed-side teaching during postings, as it has inculcated the best of examination skills I could ever posess.
At last, I would just like to add that MGACH&RC has prepared me not only to be a Vaidyaa , but a human being that can relate to our patients, a colleague that blends well with everyone in the team, and a student who is always motivated to learn more for the betterment of our patients.
Our world is a global village where education plays a very crucial and wide role in every person’s life. It was the same for me also when I finished my school education. I was determined to join Ayurveda field but was confused which college to join. That was the moment when I got to know about Mahatma Gandhi Ayurved College Hospital and Research Centre, Constituent College of Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences (Deemed to be University), Wardha, Maharashtra. I went to the college, saw it for myself. When I saw the facilities in the college I was impressed by the infrastructure. The way all the staff members and management approached me and my parents came to a conclusion and satisfaction that I was in safe hands. All these five n half years with three year of MD, I was trained in my specific subjects by the most efficient faculty members for which I am extremely grateful to all my faculties. I completed my UG and then PG in Department of Kaumarbhritya (Balrog) from the same institute. This is the only institution in which students are exposed to the research works from the 1st year of UG itself. I would like to thank and extend my sincere gratitude to the Management, Dean, Head of the Department and all the Faculty members at this juncture. I feel extremely honoured to call myself a part of this prestigious institution.
It gives me great pleasure to say with pride that I have completed my UG & PG degree in Rasashastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana from, MGACH & RC College. I am proud to product, MGACH&RC. The relationship between faculties & student is very cordial; the quality of education was phenomenal. This gave me an opportunity to excel in my area of interest. The year spent here were splendid & has helped me to grow better professionally & personally. I would like to thank MGACH & RC Hospital & all the faculties & staff for making me a better person.

I have passed BAMS in 2016, during this course I have learned so much. This was structured in a very efficient and good way and gives knowledge that facilitate my profession, I have been encouraged for being a doctor right from beginning by my distinguished faculties , offered me overall growth in terms of academics as well as personal, this gives me opportunity to achieve my dreams I am so grateful. I am Dr. Rahul from Haryana. I have completed B.A.M.S in Year 2013 from Mahatma Gandhi Ayurvedic college and want to share my experience of this college with you.
First thing is about our respected teacher’s when I was in College all the teachers were very good in nature with us. They are always support us in every circumstances. I would say that whatever I am today is the gift of all.
Second thing is about our friends. There were many friends from different streams (Like MBBS, BDS, BAMS and Nursing etc at that time. We had love, respect & support and also discussed about every movement of life with each-other. There were no matter exist that who’s belongs from MBBS, BDS etc. Hence We are still in Contacts.
The last thing about my college is that our college expose the peaceful nature to all the persons those are linked with college.
There are many beneficial medicine plant which helps to improve our knowledge about plant that what plant is useful for specific disease.
I also remember our cultural & Educational function in our College but want to share with you all about ganesh festival which organised there. We all were feel very good and enjoyed that movement as well like dancing, singing and worship.
Now a days, I say only single sentence that those were the days.
